Laurent Clerc Services was founded in 1994 by Monica Kowaliw. Monica started as a Direct Support Professional in 1986 and through the years worked in different positions in Social Services. She soon realized there was a need for more diversity in care. people should have choices about who they live with and have caretakers that can communicate with them. Monica's daughters, Miranda and Arielle, have been involved in the company for many years in a variety of positions. They are now both Administrators at LCS. Monica, Miranda and Arielle are passionate about continuing to provide opportunities for people to live an independent and fulfilling life.

Providing 24 hour support to persons served. Always striving to help the people we support to live their best lives. Assisting them with developing relationships with non-compensated people in the community. We use person centered strategies to ensure that persons served have a say in their lives.
Transportation
Coordinating rides to work, appointments, banking, shopping and more.
Medical Care
Monitoring health, coordinating appointments, communicate with the care team and providing safe medication administration.
Meal Planning and Preparation
Dietary needs, shopping and meal preparation.
24 Hour Staff Care
24 Hour staff care is available to provide support and manage emergencies. We provide a safe home and environment.
Other Services
Oversee Financials and assist with banking, budgeting and spending. Provide recreational activities and teaching social skills. partner with the person, their families and case managers for the best continuity of care.
